6 halls. Nothing here is a game, a lesson, or a quiz — no score, no streak, no right answer to produce. Every number is real and carries the source it came from, because awe built on an invented figure is worse than no awe: the person eventually finds out.
Everything runs on your device. The sky is computed from your clock and your latitude rather than fetched, your location is rounded to about eleven kilometres and never leaves this tab, and nothing you look at is recorded anywhere.
The same halls, four ways in
- If you are a kid
- The scale is the point and needs no reading level. A child scrolls down past the whale and keeps going and going, and that is the whole experience.
- If you are here together
- Each hall carries something to talk about, written to be asked out loud rather than read aloud.
- If you are an adult
- The numbers, the sources, and the fact that most of them are checkable tonight with no equipment.
- If you would rather take your time
- Nothing here moves fast, nothing is timed, nothing is lost by stopping. Large text is the default and the whole thing works with the sound off.
